Every rand has an address.
Fund a classroom kit, finish Sunbeam, back a project or sponsor a child. Each item carries the code of the fund it serves, so we can show you exactly what your gift bought.

Finish Sunbeam
Sunbeam stands on land Priscilla provided so that Shanel could care for the children of Westlake. The centre is built and in use. Two things from the original plan are still to do.
Paint the walls and the mural
Exterior paint for the current building, and a contribution to the artist who designed the mural.

KUL-SPORT

The Ride for Hope jersey
Worn at the Cape Town Cycle Tour, mountain bike races and trail runs. Made to order in sizes XS to 3XL.
A purchase, so no Section 18A certificate.
Put your company on it
Pay for a placement now and email us your logo afterwards. Placements go in order of payment. We check every logo before printing, and as a children’s charity we don’t accept alcohol, tobacco or gambling brands. If we can’t accept your logo, or your placement has already gone, we refund you in full.
Sponsor a child with Orphan Care Foundation
Regular sponsorship helps Orphan Care Foundation give children learning support, creative opportunities, nutritious meals and a safe place to grow.
Flow collects these payments for OCF under an agreement between the two organisations, keeps them in a separate fund and passes them on. A sponsorship supports OCF’s programmes and does not create a personal or custodial relationship with one child.
How your gift is tracked
When you pay, PayFast receives four details with your payment. Our accountant codes the payment to the matching fund in our books, and what that fund buys is recorded against the same code.

Questions
Is buying the same as giving?
No. The jersey is a purchase and a jersey placement is a sponsorship, so neither is a donation. Kits, project gifts and child sponsorships are donations. Each is coded differently so our books keep them apart.
Will I get a Section 18A tax certificate?
Yes, for qualifying donations. Purchases and sponsorships do not qualify, because you receive something in return. Ask for a certificate using the email on your PayFast receipt.
Are the kit amounts prices?
They are suggested gifts towards each kind of resource. Flow buys what each centre’s assessment shows it needs, and may substitute items to meet those needs.
Can I give monthly?
Yes. Choose Monthly above the project gifts and your gift repeats through PayFast until you cancel. Child sponsorships can also be monthly. Kits and the jersey are once-off.
How does Sponsor a Child work?
Flow collects sponsorships for Orphan Care Foundation under an agreement between the two organisations, keeps them in a separate fund and passes them on. OCF applies them to its programmes; a sponsorship does not create a personal or custodial relationship with one child.
When will my jersey arrive?
The jersey is made to order. We confirm delivery dates by email after you order.
